How to do If u need 2 different but similar weight PET Preform and just want to make 1 set Preform mold

A client from Iran contacted us saying he wants to make a set of PET Preform Mold, but wants this mold can produce 2 different weight Preform. One is 30mm 29g, the other is 30mm 25g.

He told us, he heard from others, only need 1 mold with a set of interchangable core plate is enough, no need to make 2 set separate PET preform moulds, but don’t konw is correct or not.

Yes, the answer is definitly.

But there are some limits here as following.

1)       PET Preform neck should be same. Our Iran client needs two kind weight 29g and 25g, but same 30mm preform neck.

2)       Weight different of 2 kind PET Preforms should be not very large, just can be simiar. around 5 gram.

Our PET Preform using interchangable spare parts, assure this concept to act.

Client’s budget will be saved by 2/3. Because 1 set interchanagble core plate is just 1/3 price of a compelete PET Preform mold.

Iran client was very happy to close order finally.
