PET drinking packing bottle developed in China only more than 10years, the history of hot filling PET beverage packaging played in China is shorter, only 6years. But PET packing runs in much better momentum than other material packaging. As we all know that, tea, juice is most points of beverage line. Nowadays, most drinking bottles are PET hot filling type. And the rate is keeping growing.

The manufacture process of PET soft drinking packing is usually like this, Injection of PET Preforms---PET Preforms are longitudinal stretched after heating----PET Preforms are transverse tensiled---blowing to PET bottle.

If the last blowing forming step is cold setting, the moleculars of PET bottle will be loose while the temperature is up to 78℃ that is glass transition temperature of PET material during PET bottle using. And the PET bottle will shrink in big extent. So these PET bottles are just suitable for cold filling juice packaging.

However, hot filling PET bottles are always in the temperature of 140℃ during above-mentioned stretching forming. The moleculars of these PET bottles are formed by high temperature in the loose condition. So huge of tidy and concentrated crystallization emerged. XRD is up to 30%-45%. So hot filling PET bottles have higher heat resistance.
